Winter

This is part of a series of abstract paintings inspired by the four seasons. This is also inspired by a trip to the Costume Museum in Kyoto that I had the luck to visit a couple of years ago. The burst of colours and textiles in the winter multilayered kimonos inspired the choice of color palette in this painting.
