Autumn Leaves

A distinctive, one-of-a-kind artwork, inspired by and evoking the warm colours of autumn, my favourite season in Melbourne, just before transitioning to cold winter. I imagined walking down a path with the leaves rustling. As the last leaves fall, there is a sense of nostalgia but also renewal evoked by the vibrancy and warmth of the autumn colors and the coarse texture. Rich, glowing tones including burnt amber, copper, orange, and earthy red, and a soft touch of yellow in harmony with a densely layered surface reveal intricate details that unfold with close and repeated viewing.
